Green Lighting Black Lives Matter Youth Media Project

The Greenlighting Black Lives Matter Youth Media Project works to showcase videos produced by young aspiring filmmakers of color ages 16-26. They share stories discussing issues of equity, diversity, stigma and much more. Training for this program is provided by a Collective Impact Partnership spearheaded through the Soul District Business Association.

We are always in search of new talent to enter our program rather as a mentor or a student. If you would like to learn more about how to get involved with this program click here.

John Washington and Hailei Aberson-Holford were featured on OPB promoting an upcoming film screening. They explained the impact the GLBLM class has and how it came to be.
